Corey Knight, an actor, dancer and former football player, was forced to retire from the sport at the age of 14 after sustaining a severe injury, and began competing in hip-hop dance competitions which opened the door for his acting career.
Currently starring in his breakthrough role as Craig Pratchett in HBO's We Are Who We Are, Knight was mentored by fellow actor Jamie Hector when he joined his theatre company, Moving Mountains, and is now giving something back by teaching other young talent at the school in his spare time. The Brooklyn based actor will next appear alongside Moonlight star Patrick Decile in Not Black Enough, Jermaine Manigault's short film exploring young Black male adolescence, a project 'very personal' to Knight.
